• realize that, based on their culture, many Ukrainian & Russian women are too shy, even when they are interested in you, to communicate and express this during the initial stages of the relationship.

How will I know if she likes me?

You should ask the particular woman questions of compatibility when you email her or when you are in Odessa to meet her.  When you are in our Odessa office and want to meet a particular woman, we call and introduce you and to prescreen the woman's interest in you.  This call to introduce you improves the chance for you to make a connection and have a productive experience.  Before anyone is listed on our site, I evaluate and judge the woman to be sincere, honest and interested in a relationship or she would not be listed on the site.  Some of the woman like blue, some like red and some like yellow -- people are different.  Begin communicating and learn about each other, your interests, desires, expectations and personal qualities - these are all important issues as you develop any interpersonal relationship. 

Some women do not state their age preference.  How do I know what age they seek in a man?

We could use the general template many agencies use:  "I desire a man 25 to 40 years old".  When I ask many of the women, they are unsure of the man and say it depends on his looks, attitude, zest for life and character.  There is no set answer for the age preference she desires but I want to advise men about increasing their success. 

Many women do not have experience with Western men so they are unsure about what to expect from a man that is a certain age.  No problem with your age for most women.  Problem is that women under 20 are less serious.  Yes, they may be more mature than their Western counterparts but they lack long-term perspective and life experience.  There are exceptions on both sides of the spectrum.

My advice (always) is to pick women 22 years old (or older) -- this is true if you are 25, 35, or 45.  Yes, there are women less than 20 that have serious relationships with men over 40 (I now several examples) but this is less statistically probable. If she is 18 and says you are/are not too old, what does this mean since she has limited perspective/experience?  Will you have many common experiences or much in common with her?

Best advice when choosing women less than 22, if you think you are too old for her, you probably are.  If you think she is too young for you, she probably is.  Use your best judgment in this matter.  Women under 22 are often very beautiful and alluring but we do not want to just sell addresses, we want you to have results.  Increase your chances for success is to pick women that are mature enough for a long-term relationship with you.  We only include serious women on our site but know that younger women (like all younger people) are still developing their personality and subject to inconsistent and contradictory behavior.  Yes, she may be 18 and gets married this year but is she who you desire for a life-long partner.  If you say yes, go for it.  If not, then choose another.

Should I meet only one woman?

Until both of you have invested time and emotions into the relationship, you are both in the exploratory stage.  My advice is that it is always best to have a few "balls in the air".  If you meet several (2 to 5) women, you know that the relative ranking among the contender changes-often a sleeper emerges (via sincere qualities and extra effort on her part) to overtake the original first place contender.  From experience, I recommend to let the dynamic process emerge and evolve. 

However, we advise you to NEVER lie or make false promises to any woman.  Please use honesty in your relationship.

What does her English level mean? 

All women are rated in their English ability when we process their applications.  This rating is an estimate of the woman's ability in conversational English.  Some woman will have different abilities to read, write, understand and/or speak English. 

Our ratings of her conversational English are based on a native English speaking company representative's opinion of her English abilities.  This information is provided as a guide.  Many woman are actively trying (i.e. self-study of books and tapes) to improve their English.  Our "English lessons" services are available if you want to help a special woman communicate with you more easily.  Within 3 months of study, most women are able to be moderately good in conversational English.  

English (No): No knowledge of English and cannot recognize the language as English.

English (Poor): Limited understanding of English.  She needs a dictionary to translate letters.

English (Fair): Elementary understanding of English.  She understands basic written text but needs a dictionary to translate most letters.  She understands a limited vocabulary of some spoken words during conversation.   

English (Good): Moderate understanding of English.  She is able to understand most written text.  She can write and speak on the phone with a moderate degree of proficiency.

English (Excellent): Good or excellent understanding of English.  She has a moderately large vocabulary and has extensive practice in speaking, reading and (probably) writing English.   

How do women join Ukrainebride.net?

We accept women's applications through referrals.  All women listed with us have been interviewed by an American marriage agency owner.  An American owner met and photographed each applicant in person.  We personally take the photos of "real woman".

There is no charge for women to join our agency. The women from our site are not recycled from other agencies.  Unlike most agencies, we do not exchange photos and/or profiles with any other agency. 

Most of the woman in our agency have never received a letter from any American or foreign man.  Their interest in corresponding with marriage-minded men is very high.

How sincere are these women?

There are new sites on the web featuring scams involving Russian women.  Some of these sites use this feature as a marketing tool to attract male clients to their sites.  If you read these 2-5 sites carefully, you will see that they are devoted to the same 150-200 women who make a living out of scamming Western men for money. This is a tiny percentage of the thousands of honest Eastern European women who are sincerely looking for a husband.  We screen women to be sincere and therefore the chances of you being scammed by a woman in our agency is very low--has not happened yet.  Of course, use caution and do NOT send money to any woman if she asks you--tell us so we can delete her from the agency!

The majority of sincere men searching for a wife in Eastern Europe meet and marry great women without ever encountering any scams. Ukrainebride.net is interested in ensuring that you are protected from any "scam artists". We are sensitive to this issue of "scams".  We want to protect you from scams.  Contact us if you ever have any doubts about what you should do if you suspect any unethical practices.  

We have not had reason to remove any woman because of scams.  Our objective is to exclude any, and all, "scam artist" women from being listed in our agency. We would not hesitate to remove any woman from our agency that violates company standards and policy.  Contact us if there is an issue about "scams" with any woman in our agency that should be brought to our attention. 

How is Ukrainebride.net different from other agencies?

We specialize in helping you meet woman that are sincere and interested in meeting good men for friendship and marriage.  If she lives outside the Odessa region, we provide you the woman's personal email address.  You send the letter to the woman herself.  Unlike other agencies, we do not hire staff to "prospect" for men. A response from a woman is real.  At our office, there are no translators hired to answer all letters -- be alert that this is a common practice for some agencies.  Some agencies pay the translator a portion of the revenue when they correspond with unsuspecting men.  This unethical practice was a main motivation in our desire to be different and a reason we know we provide an important and valuable service. 

Before establishing Ukrainebride.net, I would begin correspondence with women before traveling to Russia and Ukraine.  Many times I would have paid for many emails to and from her.  I had met some of these same women during my visits to Ukraine and Russia.  I brought to these meetings copies of my emails and her "responses" to my emails.  I was amazed when they said they never saw my photos nor received my emails.  When I showed them copies of these emails, they told me that they were not the person that wrote the emails.  You continue to pay as she (or someone else) writes emails that say she is interested in you.  Why is she never available to meet when you are in her city - she is not available to meet but she (or someone posing as her) continues to write you emails while you are in the city and waiting to meet her in person.  Have you ever wondered this, or had a similar experience?
